The challenge - In early 2006 Ogilvy Group took a decision to implement Maconomy Agency Solution in all its European offices, as Maconomy Agency Solution is the specialized ERP solution for Marcom agencies, Advertising and PR companies.
One of the first agencies to adopt the system was Ogilvy Russia. To support its diverse staff Ogilvy needed a solution to standardize reporting process across all enterprise structures, to increase operational visibility and streamline simultaneous financial accounting in accordance with local and international standards.

The solution - During implementation stages divided throughout nine months 130 work stations of all agency departments were automated including customer service, creative team, production and finance.
FTS consulting team highlighted the main challenges while carrying out the implementation project – these were automation of simultaneous financial accounting in compliance with Russian and international accounting standards and reporting adjustments according Ogilvy’s corporate specifications as well.
The results - Implemented ERP system could be divided into two large functional units which are project management and financial management.
While working on projects employees use web interface equipped with common attributes such as customer data, calculation, quotation, purchase orders, scheduling and time sheets.
Standard Maconomy user interface is used for finance issues where one can render and receive invoices, register payments both from customers and subcontractors and generate reports.
With Maconomy Agency Solution, account managers and creative managers can track their project costs and project status in real-time. The improvement in visibility helps agency managers to better understand their profit and loss areas and make appropriate adjustments.
